Session 13 Lesson Plan

How to go about building a Web Site.

Intro to this session An Opportunity and Why you need this opportunity

Go through homework Metatags. Much of the work was not done very well. In most cases the Google keyword set was done very badly at best and in many cases I saw no difference between your work and my original. Most rewrites had no tags. After you have decided on the keywords they must appear 6-8 times in the text. Change (rewrite) the text so that the new text has all these words appearing in it at the required frequency. You will need to demonstrate the frequency. Meta Tags were weak in most cases. You require the same tags for the google text and the metatags

Rewite a set for the homepage - you have 1024 characters to play with. Now what changes do you have to make for the other pages. For the description you have 1024 characters to play with - use them!!!! When you build your website this will need to be done for every webpage. You will need different criteria to find each webpage as the rules for search engines now only allow one page to be the top site for one particular criteria
