Raining at Nuneaton. Stopped at 3.00 Bedworth School - football match going on. Very heavy rain for 4-5 hours. Near bridge 14

Monday Started 8.00am Very hard frost. Bright Sunshine Hawksbury junction got water early in morning before the kids got up. Men climbing pylons. Saw a Maplins in an out of town retail park. Went into Coventry - following a very slow boat that collided with every bridge. 11.00am Coventry Very nice basin Map of Coventry delivered to us as we arrived.

Walked around the Cathedral and the town centre, Shopping Centre and Shopping - enough for the rest of the week.

Left 3.00pm Bacon Sandwiches! Stopped at Maplins for another charger 5V this time. 4.00pm

Stopped just past Nuneaton looking over the valley just before the rain came Stopped at 6.30pm between Bridges 24-27

Started 8.00am A grey day. Stopped at 10.00 for heavy rain and bacon sandwiches then as it eased started the locks - finished as the rain started again.

Started 8.00am Cloudy cold but dry. Tamworth by 10.00am Went shopping Got more frozen chips and Waffles saw castle and great church for Paul. Bacon andwiches then off at 1.30pm Fazeley Junction for water Stopped 4.00pm at Whittington Rain after we had walked to the village

Thursday -changed the gas again. Very grey - then drizzle. Late start 8.30am Long queue at Fradley Junction then very windy but dry therefore we pushed on through all the locks - arrived at the boatyard by 2.00pm. So windy we needed 3 ropes to hold us into the bank. No food til we got home Starving!

Came home by 6.00pm Ate the frozen chips!
