We decided in 2005 to visit Croatia, so we flew to Trieste Airport, hired a car and drove a few hundred miles down to Razanj, halfway between Sibenik and Trogir, which is Split Airport. This was much cheaper than flying to Togir direct and meant that we saw some of the spectacular scenery on the way down and back.

Our villa at Razanj was about 25 metres from the blue Adriatic and about 10 metres above it. The village had one small shop that sold just about everything. The villa overlooked a small bay with a hill with an old disused building at the top of it.
